Belmont 571-10 has been replaced by 571-10NS New Style Commercial Fabric Cloth Cutter, Nickel Plated Blades, Cutlery Steel, Contoured Brass Handles, Point Stopper, The difference is that the handles are ergonomically improved and now feel more like the Mundial and Wiss.

The 571/10NS shears are overall length 10” (really slightly longer). They are also heavier than 9” scissors. The size, weight and handles of the 571/10NS match the same dimensions and features of WISS #W20 and Mundial M498-10. Our Belmont 571/10NS blades are not as highly polished as Mundial and the handles are smooth brass, for about 1/2 the cost. While the Belmont 571/10NS does not have the glamorous presentation as the Mundial M498-10, it performs as well in terms of durability, comfort, and longevity. After months of use, Mundial will lose some of its glamour.
