Powerful machine. A tad spendy, but I bought it anyway! I wanted something that I could mount on the wall in my 300 sq ft boathouse, to use (with the 20-some feet of hose) as a whole-house vacuum system. I mounted it in my tiny laundry room, with a short section of the flexible hose connected to a hard piece of wand permanently mounted through a wall to the houseboat proper, into which I simply plug hose when I want to vacuum the entire place! So, it's a matter of opening a door, flicking the machine on, closing the door, thus blocking the sound of the vacuum from the rest of my little cabin, and vacuuming away. The only thing I ever have to touch/move is the hose and whatever attachments I'm using - the rest is on the wall out of the way. Simple and sweet! Like I said, at 4 HP the thing has great suction, and came with attachments for all sorts of detail jobs - computer and book vacuuming are examples. Solid sturdy metal seems rare these days. I like it.
