I was wondering if you could tell me how satisfied customers are who purchased the Bobbin Thread Winder Babylock EPBW1 (Brother PRBW1) that you advertise on your website. My Brother PR1000e seems to be pretty persnickety about the bobbins I use. Mostly, it likes the Filtec magna-core bobbins I purchase, but they are pricey so I was wondering how customers seem to like these if they are using them with Brother multi-needle machines. Any help or advice would be appreciated. In one video the lady said to use only metal bobbins?? So plastic bobbins are not recommended?
Carol, Not true, you can use either Brother metal or plastic L style empty bobbins below to wind 60wt bobbin thread. You may want to use up your magna core prewound bobbins for white, and start using the PRBW winder for every other color, texture and thread weight that you have tested on the machine.
