Our Aussie boasts an amazing 31.5 square feet of sewing space, when fully opened with quilt leaf and rolling caddy extended the Aussie is 99 1/2” wide by 80 1/2” deep. Don’t let these measurements scare you, when the quilt leaf is folded down and the rolling caddy is tucked under the Aussie measures 99 ½” wide x 22” deep.

Kangaroo Cutting Mat
The colorful one-inch quilter's grid helps accurate rotary cutting. Measurements are marked on all four sides, plus angle lines for 45, 30, and 60 degrees with 2-1/2" and 3-1/2" strips are also marked. Bonus 1/4, 1/3, 1/2 and 1-yard increments are marked
The custom insert is a piece of plastic or Plexiglas that is cut to fit your specific brand and model of sewing machine. The Insert is used when the sewing machine is in the Flat-Bed Mode, this is when the needle plate of the sewing machine is level with the top of the cabinet. The Insert fills the gap between the sewing machine and the opening of the cabinet to create a flat working surface.

Our Wallaby has a three-position airlift that holds most sewing machines comfortably and moves effortlessly up and down in a small footprint. The lifter platform adjusts easily to all heights of machines for ease of free-arm and flatbed sewing, then down into storage inside the cabinet.
Your sewing machine will fit nicely on the lift while the space to the left of the cabinet offers room for a serger, a felting machine or even another sewing machine.

Don’t let these measurements scare you, when the quilt leaf is folded down and the rolling caddy is tucked under the Aussie measures 99 ½” wide x 22” deep.
With so much surface area the Aussie is ideal for quilting or large sewing projects. The large surface space also means you have plenty of room for multiple sewing machines or sergers.

Like a Swiss Army knife it opens up to reveal all sorts of nooks for storage and just when you think you have seen all this storage unit has to offer it surprises you by revealing another function! The 9 drawers run 20” wide x 15 ¼” length with a depth of 3 ½” to 7 ¼”. The one bottom drawer is 20” w x 15-¼” l x 12 ¾” d large enough to hold a small serger. Our Aussie boasts an amazing 31.5 square feet of sewing space, when fully opened with quilt leaf and rolling caddy extended the Aussie is 99 1/2” wide by 80 1/2” deep. Don’t let these measurements scare you, when the quilt leaf is folded down and the rolling caddy is tucked under the Aussie measures 99 ½” wide x 22” deep.
With so much surface area the Aussie is ideal for quilting or large sewing projects. The large surface space also means you have plenty of room for multiple sewing machines or sergers. The rolling caddy can be placed in 2 separate locations on the cabinet and it tucks neatly away when not in use. The lift mechanism moves your sewing machine up and down in 3 separate positions and is adjustable for all heights of machines. The wide room in front of the lift allows the sewer to sit comfortably in the correct center needle sewing position. The quilt leaf extension on the back of the cabinet comes with your Aussie and helps to expand your work area preventing large quilts from falling on the floor behind the cabinet. What makes this the QuiltMate cabinet is that their is a leaf attached in the back of the cabinet that can be raised to expand the cabinet surface when quilting on large projects. The leaf when raised takes a lot of the weight of the quilt or large sewing project as well as the bulk and gives you a place to keep it off the floor or from just hanging over the back of the cabinet. Quilter's love this feature!!!
This sewing machine cabinet includes two Rudersburg lift mechanisms, one mounted on the left side of the machine opening and the other on the right side to support the machine platform evenly at both ends and the extra weight of these heavy machines.
This cabinet was designed by sewers and folks that embroider and has many conveniences built into the design. There is a space to store your embroidery unit when not in use. There are embroidery hoop hangers on the inside of the cabinet door to store all the hoops that came with your machine.
The lift has 3 positions – all the way down, so you can close up the cabinet completely – the middle position for sewing and quilting where the arm of your sewing machine is flush with the top of the cabinet. Very ergonomic and comfortable and meant to be used with a sewing machine insert that fits around the arm of your machine – and lastly, the all the way up position for taking advantage of your sewing machine free arm and using your embroidery unit.
The cabinet comes completely assembled. All you do is attach the commercial grade locking casters. The cabinet even comes with a lifetime warranty.
