The Techsew 2750 servo motor should give you enough control over start up and slow speed for most applications without installing an additional mechanical speed reducer under Recommended Accessories below* between the motor pulley and the handwheel on the machine. Some leather workers want even more slow stitch-by-stitch speed control for backtacking and turning corners on small items wallets, etc. than can be accomplished with even a servo motor.
