Hi John, not sure if you can help me but I'll give it a try. We purchased a tin lizzie with imperial frame from Allbrands about 2 years ago, then upgraded with the ram horn eclipse quilter also through you. Well my wife now has purchased a Qbot locally from a private buyer and I am having difficulty getting it to work properly. The qbot is fully functional cause my wife was able to use it at the sellers. The long arm will move correctly once I installed it but the machine will not stitch. Stitch is reading off. Having the eclipse Quilter regulator - what connection is used to the qbot. the qbot purchased has the power cord, both x & y axis cords, a phone jack type cord, and an audio type cord. obviously I have the x/y cords hooked up correctly cause the long arm will travel the pattern route, but the phone plug cord and audio type cord I am unsure where this exactly would get connected to on the eclipse. If you can please steer me in the correct direction I would really appreciate it - I'm getting frustrated! Thank You for your time.
Hi, John and customer, The QBOT doesn't automatically communicate with the sewing machine. With the Tin Lizzie and a couple other similar sewing machines, there is a start-up sequence that needs to be followed. The information on this sequence is on our website: www.myqbot.com.
Here is the link to the page where this information is available:http://www.myqbot.com/pages/faq.html
Scroll down on that page until you see the following:
18" Machine with built-in stitch regulation/QBOT sequence (on Tin Lizzie 18, Viking 18x8, Pfaff 18.8)
Hope this helps.

Could you please confirm that the QBot is compatible with the Janome 1600P DB. Also would it be wired for Australian electricity conditions?
The QBOT will work in Australia with the janome 1600 series sewing machines. There is an additional fee of 40USD for the approved version for Australia (for electrical standards and overseas power adapter).
