Floriani No Show Nylon Mesh Fusible is a 1.5 oz sheer cutaway available in black, white and beige. Unlike traditional cutaway, this product will not shadow through on light colored fabrics such as knits. Its softness makes it ideal for children's clothing and baby garments. The uniqueness of the fusible version makes this product a staple in your embroidery stabilizers. There is no need for basting or messy spray adhesives which leave a residue on the needle and machine when using this product. By fusing the stabilizer to the back of the garment, we are more successful in hooping and do not stretch the garment out of shape. The stabilizer is temporarily attached to the entire area where the embroidery will be stitched unlike spray adhesives which only "spot" tack and allow shifting of the fabric. This product is also available in a non-fusible version.

  • Use the fusible version to cover up scratchy stitches on the back of the embroidery.

Specifications

To use Floriani No show Nylon Mesh Fusible:
  • Cut a piece of the stabilizer at least one inch larger than the hoop size you are planning to use.
  • Fuse the entire piece of the stabilizer on to the back of the garment using a low to medium temp, dry iron. (260°F, silk setting) When pressing the stabilizer on to the garment, the iron surface should touch the fabric, not the stabilizer.
  • Hoop the garment and place the embroidery frame on to the machine. Complete the layout and centering of the design.
  • Important! If the design is denser than 6,000 stitches or if it is a poorly digitized design (too many stitches for designs size),"float" one layer of Floriani Medium Tearaway between the hoop and the bed of the machine for each additional 8,000 stitches for added support! After the design is complete the tear away can be removed leaving just the soft mesh against the skin.
  • After the design is complete, remove the garment from the machine and embroidery hoop. To remove the No Show Mesh Fusible, re-heat the stabilizer and peel it back gently to the design and trim.
  • *Tip! If embroidering knit, don't forget to use topping!
  • *Tip! To get extra support on large or problem designs without adding bulk, try crossing two layers of the fusible mesh, one at 90°and the other at 45°. This will offer a tremendous amount of stabilization without stiffness.

Directions for Use:

*Optional - Preparing the fabric to which Deco-Magic® will be applied is a very important step. It is recommended to pre-wash fabrics if at all possible to remove any sizing or starch used in the manufacturing process which may adversely affect the bond. Do not use fabric softener or dryer sheets when laundering. Pre-laundering will also remove any shrinkage and this will aid in producing the most beautiful and durable finish possible.


  1. Place the fusible side of Deco-Magic® to wrong side of the fabric.

  2. Pressing from the fabric side - Fuse Deco-Magic® to the fabric using a medium/high temperature on the iron (No Steam)

  3. Hold the iron in place for at least 3 seconds to set the bond.

  4. Let the piece completely cool.

  5. Cut or trim to your desired shape or size.

  6. If desired, finish by stitching around the shape with your favorite decorative stitch.


**NOTE: All irons heat differently. The iron temperature given above is a starting point. If you find that you are not getting a good fuse, slowly increase your irons temperature until you achieve a good bond.

**Test all fabric for bonding capability before beginning your project.

This way, for each movement of the embroidery achine, you will have an equal movement of the fabric. How to use Color Keep Topping:
  • Match the Color Keep Topping to the primary thread.
  • Hoop stabilized fabric and place the embroidery frame on the machine.
  • Complete any movement of the hoop by centering the embroidery design.
  • Place one generous piece of Color-Keep Topping over the area that will be stitched. Tip—secure the corners of the topping with RNK Embroidery Perfection Tape!
  • Stitch the design.
  • Remove the remainder of the Color-Keep Topping by gently tearing it away from the perforated edges.
    *If any pieces or remnants do not come away from the embroidery (satin stitch lettering for example), use the tip of our RNK Heat Craft Tool to melt the topping away.
    *Launder items in cool or warm water and low drying temperature. Do not Iron.

Use in the loopers of sergers for an easy way to hem! This heat activated, white color thread (800m) is the ultimate "blind hem." Use with patches and emblems on apparel like jeans or ball caps.

  • Press N Bond Thread winds easily onto any style bobbin.
  • Choose an embroidery design with ample stitches—a slim applique, lettering or running stitch will not expose enough of the thread for successful fusing.
  • It may be necessary to increase the upper tension just slightly to expose more bobbin thread on the back of the embroidery.
  • Let the garment go completely cool before moving!
  • Test the fabric and top embroidery thread to ensure the iron heat will not damage either. Use only on fabrics that can withstand direct pressing with an iron or heat-press.

Specifications

How to use Floriani Press n Bond Thread:
  • Embroider the design with the Floriani Press N Bond thread in your bobbin, then prepare the designs by cutting it out, or using the RNK Heat Craft Tool.
  • Position the embroidery design on the garment in the desired area. Hold good pressure on the iron over the back of the design for at least 10 seconds. Press from the back of the garment first so the iron can generate enough heat to melt the thread. Use a high wool to cotton setting on your iron depending on the fabric to which you are adhering. You can use steam for this.
  • Turn the garment right side out, cover the embroidery with a pres cloth and press again for 5 to 7 seconds.

    How to use Floriani Press N Bond thread for hemming with a serger:
  • Place the thread on the lower looper of your serger.
  • Serge the edge of the fabric,
  • Fold the edge of the fabric up to the desired depth of the hem and press. Hold pressure with tu iron for at least 4 to 5 seconds.

    Tips for hemming with your serger:
  • Test the fabric to ensure the iron heat will not damage it. Use only fabrics that can withstand direct pressing with an iron or heat-press.
  • Iron temperature can range from wool to cotton depending on the fabric limitations.
  • Let the garment completely cool before moving it.

    *Some fabrics contain sizing or starch. It is necessary to pre-wash or launder the fabric to remove this finish in order to achieve a good bond with the Press N Bond thread.
    *If the fabric contains wax or teflon, the Press N Bond will not adhere.
    *It is imperative to let the garment/item cool completely before using or wearing.
    *Test compatibility of thread/fabric/iron before using.

*Tip - If your desire is to have the lace stiff, simply get the embroidery wet. Don't rinse! Once it is wet, the stabilizer will be absorbed into the stitching and will dry stiff.

Do not touch the surface of your iron to the Wet N Gone Fusible®, use a press cloth (muslin or cotton). Press quickly! It is not necessary to hold the iron to the fabric for more than three seconds.
  • Repeat steps 2-4 from above.

    To use Wet N Gone Tacky®:
  • Place one layer of the product in your embroidery hoop, paper side up.
  • Score the release paper with a pin or needle and peel back.
  • Stick the garment or item to be embroidered in place and smooth out any wrinkles.
    *Tip - It is necessary to use "soft" water to get optimal rinse results with this product.
  • Repeat steps 2 - 4 from above.
