Hello Everyone! Just downloaded and played with the new Brother and Baby Lock Design Database Transfer program. This is a FREE program that allows you to transfer your designs wirelessly from your machine if it has the wireless feature! So cool! You can also search for designs, print catalogs of designs and manage your designs with this free program. You need to download the Baby Lock version for the Baby Lock machines or the Brother version for the Brother machines. We would like to inform you we have released a software update version 1.51 for the ScanNCut DX Series of Electronic Cutting Machines on Brother Solutions Center. Updating your ScanNCut DX with this software will give you access to a weeding box function, additional size settings in the editing screen, and ability to use "My Collection" with optional Pattern Collections.
Version 2.4.0 of the CanvasWorkspace(Win/Mac) will enhance your experience in this PC application.
The software update provides the following:
- Updated menu for transferring FCM files
- Addition of File Preview (only for macOS® 10.15 or later)
- Improved editing settings for Enhanced Image Tracing Function* (only available for macOS®).
- Enhanced weeding box function*

These 25 beautiful hand sketched floral designs were created using a raw edge applique technique. Raw edge applique does not have a satin stitch or decorative finish along the edges. The applique pieces are stitched down close to the edge using a running stitch that makes a few passes. The fabric is prepared with a fusible to hold it securely down. There will be a small amount of fraying. This is the nature of raw edge applique.
These light, airy designs have a hand sketched look. You’ll notice the dark outlines do not line up. They’re not supposed to as this gives them a beautiful sketched look.
With this versatile set, for the flowers and leaves you can use fabric (with a fusible applied) or heat transfer vinyl or cork as shown in some of my samples.
SVG cutting files are included!
This set is compatible with Patch and Applique Maker Software (for correctly resizing the native c2s files) from DIME but it is not required to have to use the designs.

Our Monroe Purse will carry essentials when you’re on the go. It features an open top and zippered front pocket.
The flap snaps to secure the open top.
The purse is fully lined with no exposed seams inside. The tabs and a strap are optional.
The flower design is not included. It’s from the Hand-Sketched Florals Collection, sold separately.
A 6×10 hoop (see actual file dimensions below) is required to complete this purse.
The purse requires 2 hoopings. One is to make the quilted flap and the other is to construct the purse.
After the flap is made, you will use it to create the back piece. It’s required to machine sew a 7” seam. This is then added during the purse construction in the hoop.

It has 6 projects using My Design Center (MDC) of The Dream MachinePlease note that this book is different than the Playbook that was released last August. The Play Book covers many portions and features of The Dream Machine (XV). This book of projects walks end users through features that are entirely in My Design Center. All 6 projects are completed in the hoop. There is a USB with the PHC files for the end user to use.

Jelly Roll Purses
Use a jelly roll or cut your own strips when you stitch this fun
partially made in the hoop purse. 2 hoop sizes are included.
Jelly Rolls are available at fabric and quilt shops. They consist of several lengths of coordinating fabrics that are 2.50" wide.
You can get 2 purses from a roll with enough strips left over that you can stitch together to use to create matching accessories from some of my other in the hoop designs.
You will also need about 1/2 yard of fabric for the lining, one magnetic snap (.75") and Soft & Stable by Annie to give the purse body. Purse feet are optional. We love the look of them and they're easy to install.

The front and back pieces (with lining attached) and the tab with magnetic snap are made in the hoop in separate hoopings. You have to machine stitch the handles, sew about 24" of straight stitching and box the corners.Complete detailed instructions with photos of each step are included. You do need basic sewing skills to complete the purse.
The purses are fully lined when finished.
There are 2 purse sizes in the set.
One is for the 8x12 hoop and one for the 9.50x14 hoop.

When finished the large purse (9.50x14 hoop) measures 7.50" high x 10" wide x 3.50" deep. These measurements exclude the handles.

Use this unique all metal tool as the perfect point turner for home dec and general sewing applications. The generous round ball located at the end prevents the tool from “poking” through the seam.
This “round ball tip” makes a great seam press when turning the item inside out. Simply, run the tool along the seam while giving a good press - no more having to pull the seam out with a pin!
Another great application is to use the tool as a “fabric safe” stiletto - place behind the presser foot to “gather” fabrics, use to smooth out bias tape or any other fabric/trim you are sewing to keep your fingers safe from the needle!
