Juki's latest DDL8700-7 below has automatic needle positioner up, auto back tack reverse, auto thread trim, and auto foot lift which eliminates so many hand operations in turning the handwheel, pressing the reverse lever, using scissors to cut thread, and using the presser foot lifter or knee lever to raise the presser foot to insert and remove fabrics. DDL-7 models automate those manual tasks, although the manual functions and controls are all still there in case you need them.
