The Tacsew 950 industrial sewing machine is the same as the Bernina 950 and comparable to the Refrey 537 which uses regular household single and double needles. You can save by getting the 950 under the Tacsew industrial label rather than the Bernina label. They are both made by Bernina in the same factory with the same specifications, accessories and are exactly the same other than the label. The Bernina goes thru home sewing machine dealers and the Tacsew goes thru industrial dealers. You can only use the Bernina ruffler with low shank short adaptor on the Bernina Tacsew 950 which will not take industrial high shank attachments. You can use other generic low shank feet on the Bernina Tacsew 950 if you already have or purchase the Bernina regular low shank adaptor, which is a little longer than the ruffler adaptor.
AllBrands.com is an independent dealer not associated with Bernina or Bernette.
