To meet the RRP standard, this vacuum must have an air driven turbo brush. They are sold separately and can be purchased below under "recommended accessories" or here.
This vacuum meets the EPA’s RRP requirements but only with the optional air driven turbo brush. In a nutshell, anyone working on a house built prior to 1978 is required by law to use a certified hepa vacuum. The people affected by this are electricians, home re-modelers, heating and air conditioning, window replacement, painters, etc. If they are not in compliance with the EPA’s guidelines, they can be fined $37,500 per day per offense, and face up to five years in prison.
