Arrow 98702 Bertha Air Lift Cherry Sewing Machine Cabinet

3 Position Platform, This cabinet was made to fit today's large and heavy sewing and embroidery machines. Her airlift holds a 45 pound machine and will move your sewing machine up and down effortlessly into 3 positions: freearm, flatbed and storage. We have also included the quilt leaf for the back of the cabinet. The leaf will increase your workspace behind the unit, so fragile quilts won't fall on the floor as you pass them through the machine. The leaf slides along a metal rod behind the cabinet for custom positioning to the left of your machine. The two doors on Bertha have a total of 8 storage trays for all your sewing accessories. A cut out in the front allows for machine knee lifters to be used comfortably. Sew with correct posture avoiding stress on your hands, back and neck in any position by sitting in front of your needle for center needle sewing. Curious if your large machine will fit Bertha?

The opening will accommodate sewing machines no larger then 22-9/16" wide x 11-3/4" front to back (deep) x 13-1/8" tall.

The Arrow Bertha cabinet is constructed of 5/8” furniture grade MDF (top) and pressed wood (sides & back) with a durable vinyl laminate on inside and outside of the cabinet. The construction is done with cam and connecting bolts for stability. This is the same system used by Sauder and all the other RTA furniture companies for ease of use and durability. You can view the assembly video at to see it step by step. To use the cabinet when the sewing machine is placed in the storage position, you can simply close the leaves which covers the opening. Or as mentioned, a custom insert (uncut) may be ordered. Arrow
It has just come to our attention that the Janome 15000 is not going to fit the Bertha airlift cabinet because the width of the machine is greater than that of the platform so the machine will not be able to sit fully on the platform. We are no longer recommending the Bertha for that cabinet. We can continue to recommend the Florie, Olivia and Gidget II.

The 15,000 fits the platform of the Aussie and Kangaroo & Joey in the flatbed position with a custom insert but the customer must move the machine from right to left when lowering the machine into storage position due to the length of the front support leg of the machine.

We have posted this information on our web sites to inform the consumer but I wanted to contact you directly with the news. We will be seeking a solution to this problem but that will be down the road before any changes can be made if any. Arrow/Kangaroo

I could not believe how fast your shipping was. I ordered a sewing cabinet in the morning and it arrived the next afternoon! I do not know how you manage that. Thanks
