Jiffy Steamer announces new Incoloy 800 Heating Element in all J-4000 Series Jiffy Steamers

Beginning the first of April 2005, Jiffy Steamer Company began installing an Incoloy 800 heating element with individual preheat and steam thermostats that are attached to the end of the 304 grade stainless steel boiler tank in the J-4000 Pro-Line steamers. This product improvement is extremely reliable, and we believe you will appreciate the high quality of this heating system. The fusible link wire, or secondary safety feature in addition to the thermostat control, will be attached above the white preheat thermostat. This product improvement will ensure that this unit will remain the workhorse of the Jiffy Pro-Line Series and will continue to uphold the trust you have put in our company and products.

Question: How do I prevent leaking?

Answer: The steamer must be used in the vertical position only. If the hose is being held correctly and steaming and item in the vertical position, there should be no water droplets. However, as you steam towards the
lower portion of a garment, you will need to extend the hose
periodically to allow any condensation to go back down from the hose
into the steamer base. This will also keep the hose from spitting water
as well. When the head is placed in the rod set hook, be sure that the
holes are faced upward when not in use.
Jiffy Steamer Company,
Please note that this is our commercial model…it takes 15 minutes to reach PREHEAT, then when you are ready to STEAM, simply move the switch to STEAM and you will have warm, moist steam in 2 minutes or less. Jiffy Steamer Company
