New style carbon rheostat element, 2 Wire Connection Inside, Non Electronic, Replacement for plastic foot controls.

Simply take your old power cord and remove it from your current foot controller (the bottom piece of your foot controller should either pop-off or can be screwed off), pop the bottom off of this one and attach the power cord to the receptacles, then reattach the bottom piece.
