The blade is exposed only when pressure is applied to rotary cut. The safety guard slides back when pressure is applied, exposing the blade, and retracts when you lift the cutter from the surface. Soft cushion handle, safety lock, for use right- or left-handed.

Cut fabric, paper, leather, vinyl, matboard and even foamcore, in any direction. Blade is only exposed when pressure is applied to rotary cut. The safety guard slides back when pressure is applied, and slides back into place when cutter is lifted from cutting surface. No button to engage, it's all done automatically. Grips on lower part of handle provide extra comfort.
