I love this iron! I had a Rowenta DG5030 and no matter what I do it spits water when using it as a steam iron. I'm a quilter, so I can do a lot of continuous steaming when pressing large areas, and this iron delivers only steam and no water drops and does so consistently. I also love that I can add water at any time, unlike the Rowenta where you have to wait until the iron cools and the pressure bleeds off before refilling it. Since buying the Kalorik steam generator, I use my Rowenta as a dry iron only.
