The Glide Foot is a bowl-shaped foot that easily glides around appliqué, embellishments, or over other dimensional elements on a quilt such as ridges, rickrack. For Handi Quilter Manufactured Machines Only, including Babylock versions by Handi Quilter.

Marie Eldredge of Handi Quilter demonstrates how to use the HQ Glide Foot and how you can quilt over seams, appliqué, and more with ease. HQ Machines purchased prior to November 2014 will need to have the Conversion Kit installed to use these feet.

The recording of the July Handi Quilter webinar has been posted for you to watch. In the webinar, HQ education coordinator Vicki Hoth and HQ studio education coordinator Marie Eldredge introduce the newest Handi Feet -- the Echo Feet and the Glide Foot, as well as review tips and tricks for using the Couching Feet. By way of reminder, these feet work with all of the Handi Quilter machines -- from the HQ Sixteen through the HQ Infinity. Newer machines, purchased within the past year or so, came equipped with the Handi Feet mount that enables you to easily change between feet. However, if your machine doesn't have this style mount, you'll need to purchase (and install) the Conversion Kit to accommodate the new feet.
