"I have been involved in a family-owned quilt store for the better part of 25 years: from a fledgling quilt shop, to eventually becoming the dealer of four different sewing machine lines, and opening a second store.

As technology changed I found myself gravitating toward the embroidery machines. I enjoyed my unique position of sewing on many different lines of machines and software to hone my embroidery skills on many items for both personal and professional use. As my experience grew I learned many tips and tricks, which quickly grew my client and student base. As a master embroiderer I enjoy not only creating store samples; but the virtues of the right tools for the job. From software to hardware the right tools combined with the technique is what makes embroidery enjoyable for the novice and the advanced learner.

I am looking forward to bringing my experience and vivacity to larger groups for a set of products that I regularly use and believe in."

Since this class has not met yet it is hard to say if you will meet or exceed my expectations, but I am looking forward to a great day of information. I was really sad to be on a two week cruise and miss all of the fantastic educators at the Nov 11&12 embroidery party in BR. Next year we scheduled our cruise for Dec, so I am ready to sign up now for the BatonRouge event especially if you can get the same educators! I have already heard from friends that it was you best ever! Keep up the good work. Miriam Knowles
