In the Hoop with Embroidery Garden
Have you heard the phrase ‘in the hoop’ (ITH) and wondered what it is?
Designer Reen Wilcoxson will explain what ITH machine embroidery
designs are and take you through the steps stitching them. Reen is an
industry leader in designing and teaching ITH across the country.
She will show you how the embroidery machine can insert a zipper and
create a fully lined bag with no exposed seams inside using one of her
exclusive designs all completed in the hoop. Reen will also include how the
Brother ScanNCut can be incorporated to make a very unique ITH item.
Reen Wilcoxson – Bio:
17 years ago I started Embroidery Garden. I specialize in creating original
and unique in the hoop designs for machine embroidery. I’m a national
independent educator traveling across the country teaching my designs at
various stores and venues. I’ve authored several magazine articles and
recently had a book, “Embroidery Garden’s MDC Projects” published by
Brother International. The book takes you step by step through creating 6 in
the hoop designs using My Design Center on THE Dream Machine. I’ve
developed innovative techniques and ideas that reflect in my designs and
teaching. I truly enjoy what I do. Reen
I have purchased two tickets, one for me and one for a friend and have attended Reen's event in the past. Thoroughly enjoy the event

if it wasn't for the assistance and the guidance of Margie Coxie at your Houston store, I would find somewhere else to shop. Someone else started showing me around the embroidery machines and Margie was working on the Dream Machine. I expected to pay around $1000 or so. After seeing her demo- I spent over $10000. She always lets me know of the events coming up. Several of them, I already have purchased the designs, but I take the class anyway.
