  Split means that this is the point at which the design will be saved in multiple frames (part a and part b). Both parts will need to be sewn, one after the other in the same hoop position, to have a complete design. Hoop size indicates the limit of the embroidery machine sewing field, that cannot be exceeded, when writing a design to an authorized rewritable memory card.
