Beth Mauro reports, "The Applique Station™ from Brother© may just inspire crafters, quilters, and fashion sewers to ty their hands at machine embroidery." The Applique Station is a compact, computerized embroidery machine that uses pre-threaded disposable cartridges to create colorful embroidered appliques at the touch of a button. The machine itself is a mere 9"x4" in size and weighs less than four pounds.

The Applique Station comes with 42 built-in designs and 12 built in boreds and crests. Patterns include animals, holiday motifs, floral designs and two lettering fonts in three different sizes. The package includes 15 thread cartridges, two frames, scissors and ten pre-cut fabric swatches to get you started. Once the user is hooked, she returns to the store to purchase additional thread cartridges and design cassettes, some of which include Disney character designs.
