Travel Converter features:
Take your Esteam® worldwide and use it at full power. The travel converter contains a 25amp triac semiconducor for stable power output, large aluminum heat-sink to dissipate heat and a UL listed, flame retarding, non-conductive material used in the housing. This unit is a "step down" electrical converter. This means that it will convert 230 voltage to 120 voltage for use with the 120 voltage Esteam® travel steamer.
The converter takes the 230V current that comes from the outlet and reduces the current to 120V so that the higher current does not burn out the element of the 120 voltage Pink or Black Esteam® units. It will NOT do the reverse. You cannot take a 230 voltage Esteam® unit and use the converter to plug it in to a 120 voltage power source outlet. The purpose of the converter is for travelers who use the 120 voltage Esteam® in the US and need compatibility with 230 volt power sources used in other countries.

This heavy-duty commercial model Jiffy Steamer holds up to 4 quarts of regular tap water and heats up to 200 degrees F in minutes. Features dual thermostats to produce steam in seconds, corrosion-proof stainless steel boiler tank to eliminate water line clogging, and safety wiring that temporarily turns the unit off when it becomes dry. The super flexible 67" hose makes it easy and comfortable to use, and the sight gauge allows for a quick, visual check on water levels. 4 attached wheels, 62" tall hanger rod included. The "stone" color base measures 18x10x10", uses a standard electrical outlet, and has a power on/off light.

The heavy duty Model J-4000”I” Commercial all-purpose steamer is equipped with 1500 watts of steaming power. The J-4000”I” is equipped with a 5.5 foot flexible hose attachment and 4 interchangeable steam heads consisting of a 9” bent aluminum pipe head attachment, “B” brush steam cleaning head, 6” wide metal steam head and a 12” wide carpet steam head. This model has a 1 gallon self-contained water tank with preheat and steam settings. It contains a sight gauge on the side of the steamer to view water level and sediment build-up at a glance. The J-4000”I” heats up within 15 minutes to preheat temperature and produces steam within 2 minutes once at the preheat temperature.

The J-4000 is the commercial unit and not recommended for home use, because of the 15 minute preheat time. The J-2000 produces steam in less than 2 minutes and will steam for an hour and a half while offering a on and off switch, once turned off, it will produce steam in less than 2 minutes again. We have many customers buy the J-4000, thinking “commercial” is better, when in fact all of our steamers are professional grade. The J-4000 is intended to be used for commercial setting for several hours a day. The metal head with wooden handle will offer more durability and the head will provide more heat closer to the garment while steaming. The plastic head and handle is cooler to the touch and lighter weight to use. The steamhead options is truly a customer preference.
