This tool is designed to be used with a Quarter Inch Presser Foot on a standard machine - or on a longarm machine that has a hopping foot that has 1/4 inch between the needle and the edge of the foot. Test your foot by doing some stitching on a scrap piece of fabric. For-Stitch-In-The-Ditch: 1. Line up two legs on side marked Stitch-In-The-Ditch with the seam line. 2. Place your machine foot up against the indented edge between the two legs and stitch to the other end. 3. Stop machine - and slide foot along the seam line to stitch the next section. Repeat until desired stitching is completed. For Quarter-Inch Stitching: 1. Line up two legs on side marked Quarter Inch Stitching with the stitch line you want to follow. 2. Place your machine foot up against the indented edge between the two legs and stitch to the other end. 3. Stop machine - and slide tool along the stitch line to stitch the next section. Repeat until desired stitching is completed.
