The Brother BR1400E Innovis at 1999USD online is the exact same machine as our discontinued Brother NQ1400E. Neither one has the NQ1600E jump stitch thread cutting. The newest 6.25x10.25" embroidery only machine model is the NQ1600E on this web page with automatic jump stitch thread cutting, and is less expensive than the BR1400E is online. This time the local dealer has a big advantage over online. Customer demand for automatic jump stitch thread cutting is the reason Brother came out with the new model NQ1600E late last year. The BR1400E is old technology.

Karen and Leigh ROCK!!! My new machine (Innovis-NQ1600e) needed to be serviced and I had things to do for my grands. Called Lafayette store as that is where I live to find truck only transports on Mon and Wed. Therefore, hubby drove to BR hoping to pay extra for get it fixed while he waited. Nope, not possible!!
