The new Freedom Ring™ from Durkee will fit as a replacement outer ring for
Allied, Durkee, Happy, Melco, SWF, and Tajima 15CM hoops.

We proudly announce the arrival of the newest product from Durkee Embroidery – the Freedom Ring™. Many people consider “hooping” or “framing” to be one of, if not the, most difficult challenges in embroidery. The Freedom Ring™ will eliminate many of those challenges.

So what makes the Freedom Ring™ different?

• The inside top edge of the Freedom Ring™ is beveled making it much easier to press the inner ring into the outer Freedom Ring™ when hooping light to medium weight fabrics
  
  
• When hooping thick or heavy weight items, the embroiderer need only begin pulling the Freedom Ring™ apart and it will lock open. After placing the Freedom Ring™ with stabilizer into the embroiderable, insert the inner ring into the Freedom Ring™. When ready, pull the release pin on the Freedom Ring™ and the ring closes securely.
  
  
• The first available size is the 15CM round Freedom Ring™. The Freedom Ring™ will fit as a replacement outer ring for Allied, Durkee, Happy, Melco, SWF, and Tajima 15CM hoops.
  
  For Light to Medium Projects:
  The Freedom Ring™ has a bevel on the top of the inner surface to let the body of the hoop engage easily.
  Set the stabilizer and fabric over the Freedom Ring™.
  Position the hoop and press down, the spring will expand to keep equal tension over the entire project.
  Recess the Freedom Ring so it is seated securely on the body of the hoop and you are ready to go.
  
  For Thick or Heavy Projects:
  The Freedom Ring™ has a bevel on the top of the inner surface to let the body of the hoop engage easily.
  Pull the hoop open slowly till the release pin drops into place to hold the ring open.
  Set the stabilizer and fabric over the Freedom Ring™.
  Position the hoop and press down, hold the hoop and pull the pin.
  The spring will retract to keep equal tension over the entire project.
  Recess the Freedom Ring™ so it is seated securely on the body of the hoop and you are ready to go.
  
  NOTE: When using hoops on your Brother machine that are non-Brother hoops you may have to do a trial layout. Make sure the needle or foot will not hit the frame when it is sewing.
