About Penny Muncaster-Jewell
Penny Muncaster-Jewell has been an avid seamstress and wearable arts enthusiast since the age of 8. She has also been a computer nerd most of her life. Including working as a NASA consultant and trainer to the folks working on the Space Station Control Center.
After retiring in 1994, she has become deeply involved in her chosen avocation, sewing and sharing her knowledge with others. She was one of the first people to get PE-Design when it was introduced in 1996. She started teaching classes in January 1997 at the request of her local dealer. She is also a Brother Certified PE_Design Teacher. She teaches classes in PE-Design and BES4.
As a result of her own experimentation and working with her students in her classes, Penny learned where the pitfalls and gotchas are in the software. She felt that there must be a way to get others up and going using this product quickly and effectively. The latest release of the software completely changed the user interface. So with the encouragement of her students and friends she started working on another book.
Penny lives on 8 wooded acres Alvin Texas, about 30 miles south of Houston.
