Just like the MC12000 the MC9900 has a detachable embroidery carriage for stabile embroidery and beautiful results. Remove the black cover from the back of the machine and line up the black dots of the embroidery unit and the machine and slide the carriage in place making sure the black button on the left hand side of the unit is not recessed. The ease of attaching the embroidery unit is incomparable, and the unit can remain on the machine for ordinary sewing even when using the free arm.
