From experience it can run all day with out any issues. I have never had it overheat or even heat up. I've run 6 jackets of 28k stitches back to back with only time to swap hoops and rethread for the 9th and 10th color. An embroidery pattern of 100K stitches would be about 2.5 hours at a mix of stitch types and machine controlled speed. This is not a household machine and is designed to "work". TB

SAI's distinguishing silhouette was created by Toshiyuki Kita, the designer of the first-generation AQUOS that kicked off the history of LCD TVs. He came up with a color and design which fit effortlessly into various environments. For instance, if you run the machine in a location where it is visible from outside your shop, it gives the shop a sense of movement and inspires interest in passers-by.
What's more, we added little twists here and there, such as arranging the thread cones vertically, to achieve the surprisingly compact form. Starting in December 2018, JUKI Corporation will be selling the TAJIMA SAI professional embroidery machine (Model: MDP-S0801C(200X300)S) in the North America and Latin America market through the distributors of its U.S. subsidiary, Juki America, Inc.The embroidery machine is manufactured by Tokai Industrial Sewing Machine Co., Ltd., the world’s top manufacturer of industrial embroidery machines, under the TAJIMA brand name.
The TAJIMA SAI is a compact, easy-to-use embroidery machine packed with advanced technologies allowing users, including non-professionals, to achieve professional quality embroidery. The machine to be sold by JUKI will be marked, “Supplied by JUKI QVP*.”
For many years, JUKI has been serving sewers engaged in quilt-making in the United States, with its long history of quilting, with both household sewing machines with quilting functions and long-arm quilting machines, such as the 3-meter-wide TL-2200QVP which made its appearance in the U.S. in 2012, marking JUKI’s full-scale entry into the American quilting market.

Introducing the new Kokochi DX-4000QVP, JUKI's newest professional-quality sewing machine. Reflecting on JUKI's heritage, the DX-4000QVP was crowned with the Japanese name Kokochi meaning "good feeling".
Customers will experience "Kokochi" when using new, state-of-the-art features found on the large LCD screen like touch and swipe capabilities, on-screen editing, one-touch button to lower feed dogs, and exclusive JUKI Sewing Net.

Touchscreen editing
The touchscreen on the DX-4000QVP allows you to easily edit the stitch design, needle position, and thread tension, lift or lower the presser foot, and turn thread trimming on or off.
This machine features new built-in stitches not included on previous models. Simply touch a stitch on the touchscreen to bring up that category of stitches. Then swipe to the left or right to browse other stitch categories. You can scroll through the different stitches simply by swiping up or down on the touchscreen.
Select your stitch and you now have on-screen editing capabilities! The knobs below the screen allow you to adjust the presser foot pressure, 10mm stitch length for basting, and 7mm stitch width on many patterns. The sample stitch on the screen will change in real time with you adjustments.
By tapping the thread tension icon on the screen will take you to the new integrated wheel on the touchscreen that will allow you to change the thread tension. Simply swipe left or right on the screen to turn the wheel and adjust your thread tension. Tap anywhere on the screen to go back to the editing menu.
JUKI Sewing Net
This new, exclusive feature will allow you to access the JUKI website straight from your machine! Projects can be opened and videos can be played. Customers will experience "Kokochi" when using new, state-of-the-art features found on the large LCD screen like touch and swipe capabilities, on-screen editing, one-touch button to lower feed dogs, and exclusive JUKI Sewing Net.
The DX-4000QVP Kokochi is the newest machine in the QVP line.
Touchscreen editing
The touchscreen on the DX-4000QVP allows you to easily edit the stitch design, needle position, and thread tension, lift or lower the presser foot, and turn thread trimming on or off.
This machine features new built-in stitches not included on previous models. Simply touch a stitch on the touchscreen to bring up that category of stitches. Then swipe to the left or right to browse other stitch categories. You can scroll through the different stitches simply by swiping up or down on the touchscreen.
Select your stitch and you now have on-screen editing capabilities! The knobs below the screen allow you to adjust the presser foot pressure, 10mm stitch length for basting, and 7mm stitch width on many patterns. The sample stitch on the screen will change in real time with you adjustments.
By tapping the thread tension icon on the screen will take you to the new integrated wheel on the touchscreen that will allow you to change the thread tension. Simply swipe left or right on the screen to turn the wheel and adjust your thread tension. Tap anywhere on the screen to go back to the editing menu.
JUKI Sewing Net
This new, exclusive feature will allow you to access the JUKI website straight from your machine! Projects can be opened and videos can be played. Downloadable instructions can also be opened on the screen. Want to watch a video on Youtube on your machine? Simply touch the Youtube icon on the screen! *Like Bernina 1300MDC which adds an LCD Screen and swing out foot (snap on and off foot is just as good for threading). If the Bernina LCD panel goes out, you cannot see what stitch you have selected displayed on screen. The swing out foot locks the machine hand wheel in place. If you press on the foot control while the presser foot is in swing out position, it puts strain on the motor.
