Simply raise the foot lift of the Bernette 33 – and even thick layers of denim or linen can be placed effortlessly under the presser foot. Thanks to its excellent piercing power, you can sew through several layers of fabric with ease. The pressure of the presser foot can be adjusted to suit any textile – which means that even sewing projects requiring tricky fabrics can be managed to perfection with the Bernette 33.

9 Foot Decorative Presser-foot Set Includes:- Ribbon-couching Foot - The ribbon-couching foot is used for couching sequin and satin ribbon. They are caught optimally by the adjustable guide and the guiding channel on the bottom side of the presser foot without slipping away during the sewing process.
- Binder Attachment - The binder attachment serves to bind edges with pre-folded bias tape in a finished width of 6 mm, which is sewn with a utility or decorative stitch.

Automatic limitation for double needles
When you change from a single to a double needle, the "double needle button" will help you adapt your needle to the presser foot so that neither needle will inadvertently hit the presser foot and break off. The "double needle safety" function limits the stitch width so that the needle doesn't hit the presser foot.
Adjusting the presser foot pressure to suit the material
For some materials, such as lightweight or thin fabrics, it is advisable to adjust the presser foot pressure. Your Bernette 38 offers this practical feature.
Automatic thread cutter and tie-off function
When you get to the end of a seam, the thread has to be tied off to prevent the seam unraveling. Normally, you would do this by making a quick backwards and forwards stitch. This is no longer necessary with the Bernette 38, as it has an automatic tie-off function. Simply select the Tie-off button and the end of the seam will be tied off automatically. When you have finished your sewing project, press the button for the automatic thread cutter and you can pull your completed work out from under the needle without having to reach for the scissors.
Extension table for large sewing projects included
The extension table supplied with the Bernette 38 is easy to attach and detach, and gives you more space for large sewing projects such as clothes, quilts or curtains.
Eight presser feet (soles) included – The right presser foot for any application
With your Bernette 38 you get eight presser feet soles and a stable presser foot shank. You can select the appropriate presser foot for whatever you want to sew. For example, you can choose the zigzag foot for zigzag stitches, the relevant satin foot for your satin stitches and the buttonhole foot for your buttonholes. With the appropriate feet, you can accomplish your sewing projects quickly and with excellent stitch quality.

b70 DECO + b79 Tutorial – Prepare for embroidery (8/11)In this tutorial video, you'll learn how to prepare your bernette 70 DECO or bernette 79 for embroidery. We'll show you how to attach the embroidery module to your bernette embroidery machine and how to remove it. With the b79 you also have to remove the presser foot and the sewing needle. Next, in the video, you'll see how to attach the Straight / CutWork stitch plate, mount the embroidery foot, and insert the embroidery needle. Then we continue with the hooping of the fabric in an embroidery hoop suitable for the design. From the correct positioning with the embroidery template to the closing of the quick-release device of the hoop, you will be shown exactly how to do each step.
b70 DECO + b79 Tutorial – Embroidering (9/11)In the embroidery menu of your bernette 70 DECO or b79 you will find fonts and integrated embroidery designs. Other designs can be selected from a connected USB drive. The size of the embroidery, the required embroidery time and the number of colors are displayed on the screen of your bernette embroidery machine.
In the tutorial video, you'll see how to scale, move, and freely position a selected design. You will also be shown the next steps: select a suitable bobbin thread, switch to the stitch out screen, attach the embroidery hoop, and thread the first required color.
If desired, a basting stitch may be added around the embroidery design or along the hoop. Then you start the embroidery process. The embroidery speed can be adjusted via the slide speed control or the "maximum embroidery speed" in the display.
What do you need to do if your thread breaks or the bobbin is empty? In the video, you can see how to rethread and simply continue to embroider.
b70 DECO + b79 Tutorial – Combine embroidery motifs (10/11)With your bernette 70 DECO or bernette 79 you can also combine several embroidery designs and embroidered lettering. Find out how to do it with this tutorial video.
Open the first embroidery design and then add more patterns or lettering. If the combined stitch pattern has become too large for the selected hoop, this will be indicated by a red border.
The embroidery designs can be individually selected and edited, for example, text can also be curved or the character spacing adjusted. Once you've edited and positioned all the motifs you want, you can save your design combination for later use.

What is the differential feed for?
The differential feed always ensures smooth seams with knitted fabrics and crimp-free seams with fine fabrics. By adjusting the setting between 0.6 and 2, however, deliberate crimping can also be created, e.g. for decorative ruffles.
