    All of our tables are designed based on having the accessory tray removed from the machine. We position the machine to have the needle around 5”-7” from the front edge of the table. The table encompasses the entire freearm/flatbed sewing surface (does not wrap to the far-right of the machine). If your machine free arm slopes downward and has contours we may choose to design the table to hover over the slope to ensure a perfectly level, smooth sewing surface. If you have a top loading bobbin and a sloped machine this may affect your use. Please contact us in advance at SewSteady.com for other options. If you are purchasing a Deluxe Table then the holes do not need to be in line with the needle to make circles.

Singer lock cutter is a far less expensive alternative to serging. This simple device when attached to a regular sewing machine can sew and trim simultaneously much like a serger machine will do. It can be used to sew stitches much akin to serger stitches and finish seams in one step. Or, it can be used to trim and finish an already stitched seam. For any sewer without a serger, this is a handy tool that fits a wide variety of sewing machine brands and models with a low shank presser foot ar. The Ruffler Attachment


This attachment offers a simple and effective way to make gathered and pleated ruffles. Ruffles may be made seperately or made and applied at the same time. The ruffler is attached to the machine in place of the regular presser foot and is used with a straight stitch setting only.

    Create ruffles and pleats in varying depths and fullness, evenly spaced tucks, and gathers for home dec pillows and curtains. You can also create great trims with purchased ribbons. Single hole needle plate makes this foot perfect for ruffling lightweight fabrics as well.

  • Ruffles one layer of fabric by itself, or gathers one layer to another flat layer of fabric, for ruffled skirts to dust ruffles and other home decorating applications.
  • Adjust depth of pleats and/or frequency of pleats on the ruffler attachment, as well as stitch length setting on your machine.
  • Be sure to tighten your needle bar clamp screw tighter than usual and set stitch length where you get good feeding.
