HOW TO INSTALL YOUR PORTABLE TABLE
INCLUDED WITH TABLE:
8 standard legs, 2 cling rulers
1. Adjust leg height to be 1/4” shorter than machine free arm.
Hint: stand leg up to free arm, adjust accordingly
(for proper fit the Table will be level with the free arm of machine
at the needle).
2. Install legs by placing Table upside down on a firm surface.
Protect Table top with a soft towel. Push legs all the way onto
black buttons attached to Table. Turn Table upright.
3. Remove any accessory trays surrounding free arm. Slide Table
into place (if legs not attached or not at right height, Table may
not slide into place correctly).
4. Install support/suction leg (when supplied) by attaching the
suction cup into the top of the leg, adjust height and place
where desired.
REMOVING LEGS (TRANSPORTATION & STORAGE):
Remove legs by placing Table upside down on a firm,
protected surface and gently wiggle legs back and forth.
DO NOT TWIST LEGS!

CLEANING: Use only 100% cotton towel to clean surface of acrylic. Use a very small amount of sudsy ammonia diluted with water to clean. Other tested and proven cleaning agents are Sew Steady Polish Kit, Turtle Wax Paste and Goo Gone Gel. Similar untested products may work, but use at your own risk.CAUTION: Do not place anything hot on acrylic. Never have sewing machine arm lower than cabinet insert. Do not stand on, lean on, or apply unnecessary pressure, outside of standard sewing use, to acrylic.
WARNING: Do not use harsh solvents such as Windex, rubbing alcohol, paint thinner, lacquer thinner, acetone, turpentine, or any petroleum based substances as they can cause acrylic to weaken and crack. If harsh solvents are used on acrylic the warranty is void.

SEW STEADY TABLE DESIGN STANDARDS:
All of our tables are designed based on having the accessory tray removed from the machine. We position the machine to have the needle around 5”-7” from the front edge of the table. The table encompasses the entire freearm/flatbed sewing surface (does not wrap to the far-right of the machine). If your machine free arm slopes downward and has contours we may choose to design the table to hover over the slope to ensure a perfectly level, smooth sewing surface. If you have a top loading bobbin and a sloped machine this may affect your use. Please contact us in advance at SewSteady.com for other options. If you are purchasing a Deluxe Table then the holes do not need to be in line with the needle to make circles.

The table is designed to never be resting on or touching the machine. You may have to adjust the levelers on the feet to make sure the table is perfectly level with the top of the free arm in order to sit as designed. The table is designed to fit around the free arm with the accessory tray always being removed. We do make some tables that work for Embroidery and Sergers. Please let us know if you are interested in these options. We are happy to accommodate other special requests as well with proper measurements and pictures if needed. Gidget I has a smaller opening size (17 ½” W vs 7 ⅜” D) compared to the large opening on Gidget II (23 ½” W x 12” D)
Gidget II Table features two wheels for easier portability when folded flat. Gidget I does not have wheels but can easily be transported with collapsible legs.
Gidget I is made of particle board with steel locking legs. Gidget II is made with denser MDF (medium density fiberboard) and steel locking legs.
Gidget II will require a custom made insert for her opening. Gidget I has a smaller opening, and may not need an insert if your machine is deep enough to fill most gaps.

Kangaroo Cutting Mat
The colorful one-inch quilter's grid helps accurate rotary cutting. Measurements are marked on all four sides, plus angle lines for 45, 30, and 60 degrees with 2-1/2" and 3-1/2" strips are also marked. Bonus 1/4, 1/3, 1/2 and 1-yard increments are marked
The custom insert is a piece of plastic or Plexiglas that is cut to fit your specific brand and model of sewing machine. The Insert is used when the sewing machine is in the Flat-Bed Mode, this is when the needle plate of the sewing machine is level with the top of the cabinet. The Insert fills the gap between the sewing machine and the opening of the cabinet to create a flat working surface.

The machine fits the platform of the cabinet in flatbed position (a custom insert is available) but you will have to move the sewing machine from right to left to lower into the storage position because of the extension of the front support leg of the machine. Also, the knee lifter lever cannot be used with a sewing cabinet due to the length of the lever and how machine sits on the platform in flatbed position.

Do you sometimes feel like you need space the size of a continent for your sewing needs? Our Aussie may not be the size of the Australian continent, but it is close! Our Aussie boasts an amazing 31.5 square feet of sewing space, when fully opened with quilt leaf and rolling caddy extended the Aussie is 99 1/2” wide by 80 1/2” deep. Don’t let these measurements scare you, when the quilt leaf is folded down and the rolling caddy is tucked under the Aussie measures 99 ½” wide x 22” deep.
With so much surface area the Aussie is ideal for quilting or large sewing projects. The large surface space also means you have plenty of room for multiple sewing machines or sergers. The rolling caddy can be placed in 2 separate locations on the cabinet and it tucks neatly away when not in use. The Dingo is a treasure chest of storage. Like a Swiss Army knife it opens up to reveal all sorts of nooks for storage and just when you think you have seen all this storage unit has to offer it surprises you by revealing another function! The 9 drawers run 20” wide x 15 ¼” length with a depth of 3 ½” to 7 ¼”. The one bottom drawer is 20” w x 15-¼” l x 12 ¾” d large enough to hold a small serger. Safely conceal and secure all your sewing notions, fabric and equipment by closing both doors and turning the key to lock them shut. As an added option the top of the cabinet folds over on two leg supports creating a stable and spacious cutting surface! Place a 46” x 40 ½” mat on the top and cut your fabric at ease. The Kangaroo can hop right into any sewing room and fit perfectly. The Kangaroo has a three-position airlift that holds most sewing machines comfortably and moves effortlessly up and down. The wide room in front of the lift allows the sewer to sit comfortably in the correct center needle sewing position. The Kangaroo comes with a quilt leaf on the back of the cabinet that folds up or down and will help to expand your work area preventing large quilts or large pieces of fabric from falling on the floor behind the cabinet. An adjustable shelf for machine storage and a large pull out drawer for all your notions round out the features of this hopping cabinet. Need more storage? The Joey storage unit adds three drawers of storage space yet is small enough to store in the Kangaroo’s pouch.

The Dingo is a treasure chest of storage. Like a Swiss Army knife it opens up to reveal all sorts of nooks for storage and just when you think you have seen all this storage unit has to offer it surprises you by revealing another function! The 9 drawers run 20” wide x 15 ¼” length with a depth of 3 ½” to 7 ¼”. The one bottom drawer is 20” w x 15-¼” l x 12 ¾” d large enough to hold a small serger. Safely conceal and secure all your sewing notions, fabric and equipment by closing both doors and turning the key to lock them shut. As an added option the top of the cabinet folds over on two leg supports creating a stable and spacious cutting surface! Place a 46” x 40 ½” mat on the top and cut your fabric at ease.
