In 2013, encouraged by a quilty friend, she summoned the courage to try free motion quilting (FMQ). She took to it instantly, mastering the technique on her domestic Brother machine. Since then, she has upgraded to a sit-down longarm and has won multiple ribbons and awards for her quilts. Now, she shares her expertise by guiding others through the basics of free motion quilting on a domestic sewing machine, offering success-oriented tips and techniques to help quilters gain the confidence to tackle FMQ independently.
