When you change from a single to a double needle, the "double needle button" will help you adapt your needle to the presser foot so that neither needle will inadvertently hit the presser foot and break off. The "double needle safety" function limits the stitch width so that the needle doesn't hit the presser foot.
Adjusting the presser foot pressure to suit the material
For some materials, such as lightweight or thin fabrics, it is advisable to adjust the presser foot pressure. Your Bernette 38 offers this practical feature.
Automatic thread cutter and tie-off function
When you get to the end of a seam, the thread has to be tied off to prevent the seam unraveling. Normally, you would do this by making a quick backwards and forwards stitch. This is no longer necessary with the Bernette 38, as it has an automatic tie-off function. Simply select the Tie-off button and the end of the seam will be tied off automatically. When you have finished your sewing project, press the button for the automatic thread cutter and you can pull your completed work out from under the needle without having to reach for the scissors.
Extension table for large sewing projects included
The extension table supplied with the Bernette 38 is easy to attach and detach, and gives you more space for large sewing projects such as clothes, quilts or curtains.
Eight presser feet (soles) included – The right presser foot for any application
With your Bernette 38 you get eight presser feet soles and a stable presser foot shank. You can select the appropriate presser foot for whatever you want to sew. Use an adjustable height ruler foot (non hopping) like Sew Steady has with slots to set the distance between bottom of foot and the needle plate. Low enough to prevent flagging of fabric on the needle and just high enough to allow for fabric movement under the foot without any drag. This warranty will be in force only for the periods of warranty duration, specified herein when the product is owned by the original purchaser and is limited solely to the repair or replacement of original parts which, in the opinion of EverSewn are defective in workmanship or material and not normal wear and tear and which are returned to EverSewn or authorized servicing center as may be designated by EverSewn.
Limited Warranty
This warranty shall extend, from date of purchase, for a period of:
1 year labor
1 year electrical parts
10 years in the case of mechanical parts from the date of purchase of the product.
The liability of EverSewn shall be limited solely to the cost of the affected part and does not include labor charges. All other costs, including the costs of shipment to EverSewn or authorized servicing center designated by EverSewn or to such other point as may be designated by EverSewn for service of repair under this warranty, shall be those of the purchaser.
Said product will be returned to EverSewn or authorized servicing center designated by EverSewn for all repairs or replacements covered by this warranty. This limited warranty is given subject to the following additional terms and conditions:
EverSewn shall be under no obligation to honor any claim under this warranty in the event that said product has been misused, neglected, damaged in transit or has been tampered with in any way or if the specifications supplied by EverSewn at the time of purchase with respect to proper maintenance and lubrication have not been observed or if the serial number affixed to the machine has been tampered with or defaced or if
the original bill of sale, warranty certificate for the machine or other proof of purchase
acceptable to EverSewn is not presented at the time service or repair is sought under this warranty.

How to Machine Knit a Tuck stitch on LK150 (hand-manipulated) Here is a basic how-to of the Tuck stitch knitting on the LK150 knitting machine. If you have a different machine, the same principle applies. Just find out the button or dial that does not knit "D" position back to "B" position. Check your instruction manual for the right dial/button. For LK150, there is no punch card or computer-aided patterning, so I just select needle by hand.
