Catherine Wright, Sewing Educator from San Antonio TX will demonstrate thread painting with BERNINA BSR Stitch Regulator.

For BERNINA Machine Owners who sign up online, AllBrands will give a $25 gift certificate when you attend the event and demonstration of thread painting and BSR Stitch Regulator on BERNINA 880.

Mr. Ueltschi is the fourth generation owner of BERNINA International. We were privileged that he has selected our store to visit this Spring. He will autograph your BERNINA machine or Manual after the 9:30am presentation. We were very proud to host him, it is such an honor.

Mr. Ueltschi took over the reins of this International Company from his mother in 1988 and runs the company to this day as owner and chairman of the board of directors. He ushered the computer age into the sewing industry and has ensured the continuous development of that technology in the world of sewing. Mr. Ueltschi is highly conscious of the Swiss tradition of the company and the associated quality of BERNINA.

Steckborn, Switzerland is a magical place; because it is where BERNINA's are designed and manufactured. The BERNINA Company was established in 1893 and is still owned and operated by Mr. Ueltschi, the grand-son of the founder Fritz Gegauf.

BERNINA machines are best known for their Swiss craftsmanship, innovations and longevity of the product. BERNINA was the inventor of the hemstitch sewing machine; and the first Microsoft® Windows® Powered operating system for embroidery machines. BERNINA is still the forerunner today in the industry. Some of BERNINA's new innovations today include the Stitch Regulator,
BERNINA Hook System, PaintWorks and CrystalWorks programs.

What makes up the complete package for BERNINA machines is their phenomenal education department.
The BERNINA experience has just began when you purchase a BERNINA. The mastery classes
and education department is part of the package when you purchase a BERNINA. No wonder people who sew say "Nothing Sews Like a BERNINA. Nothing."
Non-US Warranty: 30 days parts and labor.

Specifications

Paulette Bell currently is a freelance educator for Brother International, Home
Appliance Division, specializing in commercial embroidery and training.

"I have been involved in the commercial embroidery industry for 25 years as an instructor for commercial embroidery equipment and embroidery software, trade
show director, shop owner and most recently editor of Stitches Magazine.

Embroidery is my art/creative outlet and I also pursue it as a side business. I also
create craft projects along side the commercial saleable products.
I have been a weaver, and currently I enjoy beading, embroidery and sewing."

"I come from a multi generation family of sewing enthusiasts. I learned at an early age the value of creating my own look and style under the tutelage of my grandmother and her sewing machine. My career has spanned sewing/embroidery machine sales, embroidery supply sales, training/installation of embroidery equipment, trade show management, applications expert and former editor/managing editor of Stitches Magazine. Currently I am a freelance educational consultant for a major sewing machine manufacturer."

" Why would anyone would want to embroider something that is already embroidered, you may ask? My initial response is because one can make the item more personal, which, in turn, makes it even more special to the recipient of such a gift. A quick inspection of the retail market reveals many embroidered items. Why not embellish those pieces with your own monogram or stock design and create a memorable piece? With a little investigation, imagination and creativity, we can attain our goal.

The sources for pre-embroidered pieces are all around us. A jaunt through any retail establishment will reveal embroidered garments, household items, car accessories, pet supplies and personal gear. The search, however, need not be limited to a department store. Internet sites can be more convenient than a trip to the mall. One such site with extraordinary examples of embroidered fine linens is www.thehouseoflinens.com. A cruise through the site reveals some unique pieces that would benefit from additional personalization. "
