Grabbit® has a pleasing contemporary design with a shallow bowl surface to gather pins and a comfortable round shape to hold in your hand. It is stocked with 50 color ball pins. The pins have ample sized 4mm plastic heads and are 1 1/2 inches long. Grabbit® is safe near computer sewing machines since magnetic fields will not affect computer chips and many sewing machines actually have magnets in the inner workings. Grabbit® comes in a variety of colors and measures 1 5/16" tall, 4 1/4 diameter.

Grabbit® Sewing Tools was founded in 1980 by John and Feather King. It began in response to Feather's own frustration with the "pin situation" that was a fact of life for the home sewer. An avid seamstress since the age of 10, she had contended with stray pins being discovered on the floor by bare feet, piles of pins next to the sewing machine and on the ironing board, and most distressing, spilled pins from knocked-over boxes. She devised an ingenious solution to these occurrences in the form of Grabbit™ Magnetic Pincushion which picks up loose pins with a single swipe and "catches" pins "thrown" in its general direction. Grabbit™ Magnetic Pincushion was so unique that it created an entirely new niche in the sewing arena for the handling of pins. Subsequent products such as BobbinSaver™ bobbin holder have continued innovative solutions to sewing issues.
