Updating your ScanNCut DX with this software will give you access to a weeding box function, additional size settings in the editing screen, and ability to use "My Collection" with optional Pattern Collections.
Version 2.4.0 of the CanvasWorkspace(Win/Mac) will enhance your experience in this PC application.
The software update provides the following:
- Updated menu for transferring FCM files
- Addition of File Preview (only for macOS® 10.15 or later)
- Improved editing settings for Enhanced Image Tracing Function* (only available for macOS®).

This is a FREE program that allows you to transfer your designs wirelessly from your machine if it has the wireless feature! So cool! This is a FREE program that allows you to transfer your designs wirelessly from your machine if it has the wireless feature! So cool! You can also search for designs, print catalogs of designs and manage your designs with this free program. You need to download the Baby Lock version for the Baby Lock machines or the Brother version for the Brother machines. Use an adjustable height ruler foot (non hopping) like Sew Steady has with slots to set the distance between bottom of foot and the needle plate. Low enough to prevent flagging of fabric on the needle and just high enough to allow for fabric movement under the foot without any drag. Brother stopped making the CD's for this software. Now, they only make it as an activation code.
A lot of CD software is being discontinued these days and switching to codes. Brother only allows the activation code to work on one computer. So, if you are needing the software also on your desktop, you would have to purchase a second copy.

Using Simply Applique with Brother ScanNCutI used Simply Applique software that I bought from Allbrands.com to create a machine embroidery applique from an image I found on Google. As promised, font is Follow Directions. Applique Properties I changed are: Width 3.8, Inset 85.0, Tackdown Offset -1.8. All other setting stay as default. Be sure to use your scraps to test!
