Baby Lock's Drop Feed System allows you to lower the feed dogs so the fabric is no longer automatically moved under the needle. This gives you greater control over fabric placement, especially when starting a stitch, working with specialty techniques, or creating decorative stitches. On the Serenity, this feature is particularly useful for its exclusive Wave Stitch and Flatlock Wave applications. The Serenity is currently the only serger model with this function.
