You may have to recharge your original battery instead of replacing. Replacement batteries will fit your charger but may not fit your Original Dritz 28500. I received charger below with no problems in delivery except price was steeper than I expected .($ 68.72) I had noted. Also one half of the charger fits fine but the other half does not fit as closely, leaving very narrow space However after pushing in charger tightly it is possible to use Maybe the half that expands might have been in storage for awhile. Anyway it's workable and I put it in regularily which is improving its fitting. It may adjust with time. I hope it works as well as original charger. Sincerely, Sarah J.
