"I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.
As the lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters."
The Song of Solomon 2
Our Rose of Sharon table runner was created using Island Batik fabrics and embroidered with Aurifil #50 cotton thread.
It includes 3 of our Traditions Rose of Sharon blocks - Blocs 1, 2, and 4 - as well as 2 quilting designs for the white diamonds and triangles, and the pattern for the table runner.
Fabric Requirements and a picture of each of the Island Batik fabrics used, are included in the helpfiles.
Instructions for completing each of the blocks, as well as making the table runner, are included in the helpfiles.
Finished size of the runner is 60" x 18.5" (23" at the widest point)
The blocks are appliqued and embroidered.
All of the blocks and the quilting designs can be sewn in the 5x7" hoop; designs are also combined for the larger hoops.
You can sew these blocks using our normal KennyKreations applique method.
The Rose of Sharon table runner is designed to use the shapes from the Rose of Sharon die for the Accuquilt GO! Cutter and Studio Cutter.
Our Rose of Sharon Tabler Runner is digitized under licence agreement with Sharon Pederson and Nine Patch Media.
You can sew all blocks and the quilting designs in the 5x7 hoop.
Designs are also combined for the large hoops, including the Janome11000 Macro Hoop, PfaffCV and Husqvarna Diamond (VP3), Bernina830 (EXP), Babylock Ellisimo and Brother Innovis, Quattro and PR Series.
