Superior 106-02-001 Vanish, Extra Water Soluble Basting Thread 1500Yds*

Vanish is a water soluble thread for machine and hand basting, trapunto, and other uses. It is available in two weights (thicknesses), Vanish-Extra and Vanish-Lite. Both are available on spools and mini cones. Store Vanish in a resealable bag in a dry place. For fastest results, use Vanish in both the top and bottom.

Vanish-Extra Water Soluble Thread is recommended for longarm and other high speed machines as a top thread. It can also be used as a bobbin thread. 1,500 yd. mini cone. Designed for Basting, Trapunto, and Apparel.

Vanish-Extra

Vanish-Extra is recommended for commercial and longarm machines.
Stronger than Vanish-Lite and can handle the stress from high-speed machines.
Can be used as a top thread and or bottom thread.
Vanish-Extra requires soaking to dissolve. Depending on the stitch density, gently massaging the thread helps it dissolve more quickly.

Water soluble thread. Perfect for basting and applique. Not recommended for swimsuits. Vanish water-soluble thread is created from a special blend of ingredients that allows the thread to be sewn or quilted and when immersed in water, dissolve. Vanish-Extra is for quilting on longarm machines. Special Notes: We recommend that you immerse your quilt/project to allow Vanish to thoroughly dissolve. Warm water will speed up the dissolve time.
