Join Natalie Dowd for this beginner-friendly class where you’ll create reversable tote bag using just ½ to 1 yard of fabric (sold separately).
Objectives:
• Learn how to make a reusable item from 1/2–1 yard of fabric
• Learn how to use sewing tools such as marking pen, weights, iron, shears, pinking shears, pins, seam ripper, rotary cutter, etc
• Learn how to read, measure, mark and cut a pattern
• Learn about the type of stuffing, if applicable
• Learn how to hand sew, finish and/or embellish the project
Materials:
• 1/2–1 yard of fabric
• Matching thread
• Pattern
Procedure:
• Prepare the fabric for cutting by ironing
• Marking and measuring fabric with pattern
• Cutting fabric using scissors or rotary cutter

• A pool noodle to roll up everything helps if you are making something large.
