When choosing a template thickness, choose 1/4 inch thick for longarm and midarm machines. Choose 1/8" thick for smaller home quilting/sewing machines.

Ruler foot quilting is a new way to free motion quilt using rulers or templates to guide the design. Simply position your ruler on your quilt, press it against a ruler quilting foot and gently steer both the quilt and the ruler through your machine.

The Slice ruler is perfectly designed for machine quilting on any type of machine. You can use this ruler to space lines 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 inch apart. You can also quilt fun angles and stitch around the end to create stacked brick designs.

The Mini Slide ruler has gentle curves on both sides that make it easy to quilt evenly spaced curving lines. You can also use this ruler for cutting too.

For deeper curves, and to cover a larger space, you'll want the Super Slide ruler. This ruler is a few inches longer and the curve is much deeper, so it can create beautiful effects on your quilts.

Both the Super Slide and Mini Slide are Continuous Line rulers. If you stop quilting 1/4 inch from the edge, you can reposition the ruler and continue quilting the repeating curve. This will help you create beautiful borders with perfectly spaced lines every time.
