To clean the soleplate, wait for it to cool down and wipe it with a damp cloth or sponge. To extend the life of your iron and avoid scale on your ironing, make sure to clean your iron when the ""CALC CLEAN"" warning light remains lighted on the LED screen. To do so, simply use the calc cleaning program to flush dirt and scale particles out of the steam chamber (refer to user guide for detailed process).
