The Kids Quilted Zipper Pouch Sewing Class is a fun and engaging beginner-friendly class
designed to introduce children to sewing while creating a functional and creative project. In this
hands-on class, students will learn the basics of quilting and zipper installation while making a
quilted zipper pouch they can take home and use.

Instruction will cover sewing safety, basic machine operation, straight stitching, layering and
quilting fabric, and installing a zipper with guidance and support throughout the process.
Students will also have the opportunity to personalize their pouch with fabric choices and
optional embellishments.

This class encourages creativity, builds confidence, and helps young sewists develop
foundational sewing skills in a supportive and structured environment.
