Travel Converter features:
Take your Esteam® worldwide and use it at full power. The travel converter contains a 25amp triac semiconducor for stable power output, large aluminum heat-sink to dissipate heat and a UL listed, flame retarding, non-conductive material used in the housing. This unit is a "step down" electrical converter. This means that it will convert 230 voltage to 120 voltage for use with the 120 voltage Esteam® travel steamer.

The converter takes the 230V current that comes from the outlet and reduces the current to 120V so that the higher current does not burn out the element of the 120 voltage Pink or Black Esteam® units. It will NOT do the reverse. You cannot take a 230 voltage Esteam® unit and use the converter to plug it in to a 120 voltage power source outlet. The purpose of the converter is for travelers who use the 120 voltage Esteam® in the US and need compatibility with 230 volt power sources used in other countries.

F.A.Q.

Which Jiffy models does the Esteam voltage adapter work with?
The Esteam Travel Converter system only works with 120V Black(0601) or Pink(1901) Esteam models, using the NEMA 1-15 plug. It does not work with any other Jiffy Steamer model(Uprights) or the 230 Volt versions of the Esteam.
