Reliable™'s J series and all of Rowenta's products are made for home use only. This means a maximum of 20 hours of use per week (and even this is a bit high).
All home model steam generator ironing stations are made of plastic. During long hours of use, the plastic will heat up to more than what it is designed for, and it will slowly degrade. Additionally, the components inside including the wiring, the thermostat the thumb switch; all are geared towards low to moderate use. Everything changes when the iron is on for 10-12 hours per day.
This is why RELIABLE™ produces two different lines of products. The commercial (i300, i500, i700, i702) series and our home series (J410, J450A). |
