Students will create a fully lined, boned corset using the Sculpting Corset pattern, learning
professional corsetry techniques used in eveningwear, bridal, and couture fashion.

his course focuses on precision sewing, fit, and structural integrity, resulting in a wearable,
supportive corset that can stand alone or be styled as part of a larger garment.
Specifications
Supplies needed:

● Sculpting Corset pattern (printed copy can be picked up at the store)
● Non-stretch woven main fabric
● Lining fabric
● Matching thread
● Fusible interfacing
● Corset boning (Rigiline boning)
● Bias binding
● Eyelets/grommets + setting tool
● Corset lacing or ribbon
● Sewing machine and standard sewing tools
