Flat fabrics can be embroidered on any embrodiery machine depending on the sewing field size you require. Generic and model-specific Hat and Cap hoops for the flat bed machines are available, but it is a very slow process with very narrow sewing field sizes and no rotation. True hat/cap set-ups are those industrial embroidery machines with cylinder arms, cap drivers and cap hoops for rotating the caps while embroidering on them.
