Embrilliance Essentials - Advanced Features

In this class we will focus on using the Stitch Simulator in Embrilliance to edit designs, using the align and distribute function, the group & ungroup feature, and we will create our own custom palette. To attend this class, you must have taken the beginning essentials class or have been working easily with the basic features of Embrilliance Essentials. Bring your laptop to class with the Embrilliance Essentials software loaded, and bring at least 10-15 spools of thread (or as many as you have up to 10-15). Quilt Piecing Series, Class I, Machine Applique

First in our series of the piecing-classes we will feature the machine applique technique. We will be creating a Wall Hanging of A Christmas Angel or Hanukkah Fairy. Learn how easy it is to turn your favorite whimsical critters or artwork into home decor items as you learn to work with double-sided webbing to create your masterpiece. Your sewing machine needle becomes your paintbrush as you master the blanket stitch, the triple stitch, and the invisible hemming stitch which creates a hand-sewn look. By changing the sixes of the Dresden Plates incrementally and the layering, a beautiful table centerpiece emerges. Colorway possibilities are endless for creating a masterpiece.
