I am wondering if the Sullivan's folding table that this iron cover fits onto can be folded with the cover still on, or will I have to remove the cover each time I stow the table

We would not recommend keeping the pad on the table when stored. The cover fits snugly and might tear when you fold the table.

What is it made out of?

Item 12572, Ironing Cover, comes in a box and is 2 pieces. The top is silicone treated and has grid lines for many sizes of quilt squares. The pad is foam rubber. The cover can be stored in the original carton when not in use. The carton is 15" x 14" x 4".
